Weekend Art Trails and Sculpture Trails have become popular annual or semi-annual arts event throughout New Zealand. Weekend Art Trails is an open studio tour on a set date that gives art enthusiasts the chance to see fine art and fine crafts in the making, and to purchase works directly from the people who create them in dozens of local communities. The show takes place in homes, studios, galleries, and other locations on weekends only.

Peninsula Art Trail, Miramar

Tickets $15 each and accompanying children free.
Featuring club members demonstrating and displaying art in their home studios on the Miramar peninsula and at the Wellington Art Club, 27 Chelsea St, Miramar, where the trail begins and tickets can be purhchased and maps of studios will be given out and refreshments are available. All art is for sale.
